This module intends to equip students with essential knowledge, skills and attitudes in research process, basic statistics applied to health and basis epidemiology principles. This will provide the students with ability to examine and apply evidence based information to guide clinical practice, health promotion and disease prevention.
The learner is provided with the structure (anatomy), function and its physiology of organ systems of the human body. The module is designed to introduce the basic principles of anatomy and physiology to nursing learners. Following an introduction to the organization of the human body, basic chemistry, and basic cell biology, basic anatomy and physiological functions of organs will be explained.
